You’ll find a menu full of options when you choose to dine in Mankato. Whether you’re looking for an authentic ethnic restaurant, a quick sandwich, or a latte from a coffee shop, you’ll find plenty of tasty choices in Mankato.

As a college town, Mankato has all the big name fast food chains you’d expect, like McDonalds, KFC, and Burger King.   You’ll also find favorites Wendy’s and KFC in the town, as well as a number of restaurants at the local mall food court.

The Green Mill Restaurant & Bar is another local hotspot, and a restaurant that is a Minnesota legend, started in St. Paul in the early 1930s. Other local favorites include Pub 500, Applewood Restaurant and Banquet Center, and Olives by Massads.

Baker’s Square and Perkins Restaurant also serve family style food, and most famously, a wide selection of pies and pastries. If you crave a hot cup of coffee with your tasty treats, you’ll want to check out The Coffee Hag, a quirky coffee favorite serving fair trade certified coffees. Mankato also features chain coffee shops Starbucks and Minnesota local Caribou Coffee, as well as other independent shops.

Pagliali’s Pizza is the place to go in Mankato for mouth watering pizza. Patrons drive from all around to taste the traditional and unusual pizzas the restaurant offers. Pizzas like the Philly Cheese Steak and Chicken Alfredo will tempt your taste buds and fulfill your pizza craving.

Mankato’s ethnic dining scene features a handful of Mexican restaurants, including El Mazatlan and Zanz Mexican Restaurant. Asian options include Chinese, Vietnamese, and Mongolian grill. The Neighbor’s Italian Bistro is also a popular place to dine, and prides itself on serving the highest quality food, wines, and Italian specialities.
